Party at the Palace will be staged once again in 2015 and – even better news – it will be back in Linlithgow!
And a number of concerns raised after the inaugural weekend concert will be addressed by the organisers.
John Richardson of promoters PDF spoke exclusively to the Journal and Gazette.
He said: “We are exceptionally pleased that Party at the Palace is returning to Linlithgow on August 8 and 9 next year, and it will be bigger and better than before.
“We’ve learned from the teething problems that any promoter has when running such a succesful event for the first time and are putting plans in place to ensure that next year’s musical spectacular will go off without a hitch.”
Early bird tickets will be on sale from Monday, November 17, at 10am.
In response to complaints over Groupon discounts last year, the promoters have made available 2000 tickets at an all-time low price of £35 per day instead of £56.
Early bird weekend briefs are also available at £60 for the first 2000.
Party at the Palace organisers have pledged that tickets won’t be cheaper if you wait this time round!
They have set up a second tier discount ticket rate of £45 per day and £80 for a weekend pass if tickets are bought before December 31.
This is in addition the specially discounted early bird tickets which are avilable now. And, what’s more, once the headline acts are announced in early 2015, PDF has also pledged that purchasers have 14 days to claim a full refund if they don’t like the acts.
Tickets can only be purchased at www.partyatthepalace.co.uk or via ticketing agents Linlithgow Plus. You read it here first!
