In the spotlight this week is Jenni Meldrum, Queensferry

1 Schooldays: What kind of a pupil were you?

Happy and enthusiastic. My dad was a teacher and knew the headmaster of my school!

2 The first single / album I bought was...

“After the Goldrush” by Neil Young. I still have it but it doesn’t play well due to all the scratches acquired over the years.

3 What’s guaranteed to get on your nerves?

More and more things as I get older but basically inconsiderate behaviour, any kind of cruelty - and intolerance!

4 Which famous person do you think you could be good pals with and why?

Keith Richards. His autobiography revealed an interesting insight into his personality. Always loved his music and life certainly wouldn’t be dull!

5 Holiday time: camping trip, city break or hit the beach?

Combination of all three would be good but camping trip in our old VW campervan is a brilliant way to get away from it all.

6 If you could learn any new skill, what would it be?

Play a musical instrument. Keith might be able to help out with that!

7 What scares you?

Dangerous driving.

8 A quality your nearest and dearest love about you:

My ability to see the best in people.

9 By what motto do you live your life?

Take time to stop and smell the roses along the way.

10 I’m at my happiest when...

I’m in the company of people I love.
