A Queen has been chosen from Holy Family Primary to take the crown at Winchburgh Gala Day.
Lucky lady Megan King (12) was ecstatic to be picked for the role and is already getting organised for the big day on Saturday, June 25 at Craigton Park.
Mum Nichola has already taken her out shopping and the all-important dress is already hanging in the wardrobe.
Nichola (29) said: “It’s a once in a lifetime thing so she’s really excited. We’ve bought her dress already and we were lucky to find one. But she’s keeping it as a surprise what it looks like. We’re also decorating the house and garden.
“There were six girls in for the draw and this is the first time it has been running that the Queen is from Holy Family, so it’s special for the school.”
