Last chance to see exhibition at The Line Gallery

art lovers have a few more days to visit a four artist exhibition at the Line Gallery in Linlithgow.

‘Looking Outwards’ is the title of the free event which features a range of contemporary Scottish art works by artists Catherine King, Julie Parker, Lesley-Anne Derks and Shona Young.

Catherine King said: “The exhibition will offer something for everyone with a mixture of paintings, mixed media and prints. We’ve also all drew on individual inspirations which provides variety in relation to the way we’ve interpreted the theme ‘looking beyond’.

“For example, I’m drawn to Scottish landscapes and the sense of isolation they can evoke, whereas Lesley-Anne is well known for her night-time cityscapes. Shona’s work also features scenes of city life whilst Julie’s pieces are largely mixed media and abstract. A common thread between all the work though is a fresh, contemporary feel and I hope visitors to the exhibition will enjoy browsing the selection on offer.”

The exhibition is open daily at the Line Gallery on Linlithgow High Street until Tuesday, February 15.
