Two Linlithgow Academy students had their drawings commended in a national school art competition.
S3 pupils Vicki Fulton and Cal Young entered their artwork into the John Byrne National Drawing Competition and their designs beat thousands of others to reach the top 30.
Paisley-born artist Byrne was at a special exhibition for the competition entries at the Paisley Museum and Art Gallery to unveil the winners and runners-up, and highlight the entries that were commended.
John said: “I’m really pleased to announce the commended entries of this year’s competition. I would like to offer my congratulations to them all. Their artwork was chosen as it stood out from the rest.”
Vicki and Cal both received a specially designed certificate from John to commemorate their participation in the competition.
