Linlithgow’s town centre BID has laid out plans it hopes will benefit the Royal Burgh in the coming months.
Following a meeting at the end of June proposals to improve the festive lighting in the town took a step forward. This year three new six metre figures will be added to the lighting display, with more yet to come.
Also a pilot project to install visitor signage in the town centre has now completed its initial design phase.
A business map of Linlithgow BID’s area will be displayed in a prominent area of the town, highlighting each business by name, explaining the goods available and providing a town-centre guide for visitors.
This map will also be printed in leaflet format and distributed throughout Linlithgow and made available at strategic tourist information points.
The total amount contributed to improving the town centre this year has passed £5000, meaning in two years Linlithgow has seen £11,759.97 invested in its town centre.
