Ross Miller, the well-kent face of the ‘Lithgae Piper’, has once again found himself in the limelight as Pipe Major of the The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland.

Ross and the band had been invited to play at the Ryder Cup Gala Concert in the SSE Hydro to welcome players, their families and guests to Scotland.

Their rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’, played to the haunting vocals of Scottish Opera, left the arena guests with the hairs on the back of their necks well and truly standing up.

This latest outing for Ross is just another step on his career ladder having also recently been involved with the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where he piped at the medal award ceremonies.
