Man charged with glass attack

A man has appeared in court charged with permanently disfiguring another man in a glass attack in a pub in Linlithgow.

Paul Tarimo (35) whose address was given in Livingston, made no plea to a charge of assault to permanent disfigurement at Livingston Sheriff Court on Tuesday and was released on bail pending further enquiries.

His next court appearance is still to be confirmed.

The incident is said to have taken place at the Crown Arms last Saturday.

A 33-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries in the assault which required medical attention.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with the investigation.
