YOUR guide to the Linlithgow Marches 2011 is out now ahead of the town’s biggest event next month.
Produced by Linlithgow Round Table with money raised going to local causes, the programme of events includes important dates in the civic festival and the all-important timetable for the Riding of the Marches on June 14.
Diaried events includes the 6th Linlithgow Duck Race on Monday, June 6, which has raised over £15k for local causes, the Linlithgow Round Table Primary School Football Festival on Saturday, June 4, and highlights later on in the year such as Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham headining the 13th Linlithgow Folk Festival in September.
The Marches programme is priced £3 and available to purchase from Wilsons, Oliphants, Camerons, both Linlithgow bookshops, Alexanders Newsagents, Robert Callander, Norman Cummings and Playbugs.
Programmes will also be sold around Linlithgow residential areas throughout May.
The Journal and Gazette will be running its usual pre and post Marches coverage, with eight page specials in the issues of June 10 and 17.
