Artists who are going to entertain on the new second stage at Linlithgow’s Party at the Palace have been announced.

Last month, organisers revealed more of the names set to take to the Star and Garter stage at this year’s two-day music festival.

Katie Doyle, Saskia Eng, Declan Welsh, Saraswati, The Luci Bains Band, Altinak, Into the Ark, Apache Darling, Kelvin, Sinderins, Anothony McElwee, Gavin Blackie, Katee Kross, Scarlet Baxter, 100 Fables, Crystal and Ashton Lane are the latest acts that will perform in August.

The list throws together a mixture of genres including country music, post-punk electronica, r&b and pop. The fusion of sounds that will be belting out at the festival means there will definitely be something for everyone.

Organiser John Richardson said: “Introducing a second stage was always part of our plan to grow the event and we are delighted that it is happening this year. With such a strong line up on the main stage including Billy Ocean and The Proclaimers, we needed a selection of acts that would compliment rather than compete for our audience on site.

“Every band that we have playing seems to have a story to tell or a connection with the event in some way. It’s great that we are being able to showcase great emerging talent, a few local acts and some that already have a great track record.

“This year’s Party at the Palace is sure to be fantastic.”
