Tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, Kinneil Estate will resound to the high-pitched roar of tuned racing car engines as the Bo’ness Hillclimb gets underway.
Around 100 racing cars are expected at the Bo’ness estate for the ‘‘classic car’’ event on what was Scotland’s first- ever permanent racetrack and which was a proving ground for many emergent stars of motorsport.
Event spokesman Kenny Baird said: ‘‘This event is unique to Scotland and has something for everyone.’’
Practice both days starts at 9.30am with competitive action in the afternoons. Admission is £10 per adult per day and free to accompanied under-15s.
