Music press is taking note of the Bwani boys

UP-AND-COMING Queensferry band Bwani Junction have used the backdrop of their home town once again for their latest video.

Their latest single, Civil War, features scenes set in Walker Drive and even calls upon locals for characters within the video.

Such is the interest in the band that music magazine NME has premiered it on its website and described it as ‘The Graduate meets Trainspotting’.

Popularity in the band is growing and they played the length and breadth of the UK last year, featuring at many major events such as Hard Rock Calling and T in the Park. Not forgetting their roots, they played gigs for Queensferry Rugby Club and Christmas in Queensferry. And they finished off 2012 at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay lining up alongside Simple Minds and The View on the Princes Street main stage.

The band’s second album, “‘Tongue of Bombie”, follows their debut “Fully Cocked” and is released on April 29.
