The Denny hospice needs to bring in £10,000 of donations every single day to continue to support those with terminal illness, both at the hospice and at home.

To do so, Strathcarron is holding a road race, a talk from historian Neil Oliver and a ‘spooktacular’ in the coming weeks.

On Halloween, Strathcarron is hosting a Spooky Wooky Walk at Callendar Park for younger children and a Terror Trail for bigger, braver types. The event for younger children features ghosting and guising, while the terror trail is a guaranteed scream-fest with zombies and scares round every turn. Both events run from 6-8pm on October 31. The hospice is looking for volunteers to take on parts as zombies and ghouls. If you would like to offer your services, call Coleena on (01324) 826222.
