The sun shone on the Bo’ness Churches Together fun day held at Newtown Park on Saturday.
Over 200 adults attended accompanied by many children.
Bo’ness United provided two goalkeepers for a Beat the Goalie competition and some children managed to do joust that!
This was the first event of its kind but the organisers felt it was very rewarding to take the many different churches in the town to the people.
Children were drawn to the emergency services vehicles in attendance as well as the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) stall.
This is a charity which flies medical staff to help those who live in hard-to-reach places across the world.
Facepainting and refreshments also helped to ensure ensured a good time was had by all.
Co-organiser Val Spowart of the Salvation Army said: “We must thank Bo’ness United for the use of the ground.
‘‘As it is all enclosed it made it really safe for all the children.
‘‘The sound system proved very useful to let people know what was going on throughout the day and we also want to thank MAF and the police and fire services for coming along.”
