DESPITE the ongoing severe weather and resulting transport problems, NHS Forth Valley continues to provide all urgent and essential health services, but there may be some delays and disruption to routine services.
Staff have been re-deployed to help deal with patient enquiries.
The NHS Forth Valley area includes Bo'ness, Blackness and Whitecross.
Patients should only travel to their appointment if it is absolutely necessary and should listen to their local radio station for the most up-to-date police and travel advice.
They should also be aware that the Scottish Ambulance Service has suspended patient transport services for day hospital and outpatient appointments, except for priority renal and cancer patients.
Patients who are already prescribed medication should contact their community pharmacy if they have any concerns about additional supplies.
