NHS Forth Valley is urging people to take extra care as a slow thaw begins.
There has already been an increase in the number of falls resulting in fractures as ice is now a major problem.
This trend is likely to continue over the next few days which could lead to people having to wait a little longer for treatment.
The majority of community pharmacies have received new deliveries of medicines.
Should any community pharmacist have trouble with stocks of specific drugs, they can contact the pharmacy team at NHS Forth Valley who will endeavour to locate supplies for them.
Meanwhile NHS Forth Valley - that covers Bo'ness, Blackness and Whitecross - continues to provide all urgent and essential health services.
There may however be some delays and disruption to routine services.
Staff are continuing to be re-deployed to help with patient enquiries.
