Police Call: A safe spectacular at Callendar Park

This Saturday sees the annual fireworks spectacular at Callendar Park, hosted by Falkirk Community Trust.

It promises to be an enjoyable night, kicking off at 6.30 pm with live performances from Falkirk Youth Theatre, the Patryns and 5 Strings. The firework spectacular will start at 7.30pm and afterwards there will be more entertainment.

Officers have been attending multi-agency meetings and a planning exercise to make sure it’s a memorable evening for all.

To help with entry and exit to the park, this year there have been some changes to local parking availability and some road closures which can be viewed on the Community Trust website.

The Falkirk Council website has also listed temporary traffic restrictions on local roads.

This will help you, your friends and families to safely access the park and help with the flow of traffic as it leaves.

Free parking is available at designated sites.

I’d encourage everyone to follow the direction signs and park responsibly.

Pavements and roads must be kept clear for pedestrian and emergency service access.

And please arrive early to secure the best viewing spot!
