It’s been revealed that the Party at the Palace musical spectacular WILL return to Linlithgow next year.
There had been concerns recently that organisers may have been looking to switch the event from the Peel to a different venue.
But these fears were wiped away when promoter John Richardson of organisers PDF Promotions spoke exclusively to the Journal & Gazette this week.
He revealed that the decision to proceed with a concert in 2015 had now been taken following a debrief after this year’s event.
Very constructive talks have been held with partner agencies, including Historic Scotland, West Lothian Council and Police Scotland, who have all indicated their willingness to assist organisers in making the festival an annual event for the area.
The promoters have also revealed that the dates which are being considered for next year’s party are August 1 and 2.
Mr Richardson said: “We have just started - in the last week - to speak to acts so it’s too early to say anything on who’ll be playing.
‘‘However, the line-up will still be Scottish and will be at least as good as this year’s.
‘‘All the lessons from this year will be taken forward to make sure we get it right for next year.’’
