Peep at the past

LOOKING very spick and span are the staff of Linlithgow Post Office.

The High Street premises - not so long ago converted into a pub-restaurant - is all decked out for a special occasion.

There are absolutely no details provided with the pictures so we’re hazarding a guess that the picture was taken for Queen Victoria’s jubilee or some such similar occasion.

The Journal and Gazette welcomes old pictures for possible reproduction on this page.

They can be dropped into the postbox in Bo’ness library or handed into the Journal and Gazette office, 114 High Street, Linlithgow, Tuesday-Thursday or emailed to editorial@journalandgazette suitably captioned.
