Bainsford protest ends as police break-up crowd

A gathering of around 20 people who attended a protest in Falkirk had to be dispersed by police.

The short protest took place in Gairdoch Street, Bainsford, on Saturday afternoon and police were quickly on the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Saturday, January 16, officers were made aware of a planned protest outside a property on Gairdoch Street in Bainsford.

“A small group of people gathered and officers attended. Advice was given to all concerned and the group was dispersed.”
