Celebrations for happy Bo’ness couple Jim and Sandra Hannah

James (Jim) and Sandra Hannah (nee Martin) recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary, having been married in Denny Parish Church on December 14, 1960.

Jim (81) is born and bred in Bo’ness and is a retired police sergeant, having served in Central Scotland Police, some of which was spent in Bo’ness.

Sandra (79) worked in various offices including Shieldness Produce. She also owned Findlays sweet shop which was located in Corbiehall in the late 70s and early 80s.

They have a son, two daughters and seven grand children.

They had planned to hold a small party to celebrate with family and friends however this was cancelled due to the current Covid-19 restrictions. Instead, they spent a quiet day and had a lovely lunch at the Corbie Inn.
