Some 15 Lodge members distributed the two-course meals to the Denny community last Saturday.

James Wilson, Right Worshipful Master said: “It was clear early on that we wouldn’t be able to have this year’s event.

"Thanks to our chef and delivery drivers we provided a lovely two-course meal instead.”

Lodge Master Bro. Wilson added: “While the meal is much appreciated, the contact to arrange delivery and a wee chat on the doorstep has been even more important.

James and Betty Harley, recipients of the meals, wrote to Mr Wilson: “We want to thank the Lodge for its kindness to the senior members and widows by providing and delivering meals during this pandemic.

"This has been extremely generous by those who have given their times and talents.”
