Falkirk Council green lights demolition work on Kincardine Bridge
and live on Freeview channel 276
Having been granted permission by council planners under delegated powers on February 26, Transport Scotland will now be able to demolish and then reconstruct as section of piled viaduct, construct a temporary Bridge, replace a safety barrier, refurbish timber jetties, replace the bridge drainage system, instal navigation lights and carry out general maintenance.
Kincardine Bridge opened in 1936 as a road crossing over the Firth of Forth.
