Falkirk festive appeal pulls in donations and Christmas jumpers
With £910 raised in cash and online donations and generous donations of jumpers from Tesco Stores, the staff of AlanMart Day Care in Stenhousemuir as well as individuals the initial target of £1,000 has well and truly been smashed.
Liz Wilson who has been championing the appeal, said “I am delighted to have been able to help the bairns of Falkirk in this extraordinarily difficult year.

Over 100 jumpers have been distributed via local family support centres, schools and Falkirk Council’s children’s services, to children in need, and Morrison’s Store has also pledged to do what it can to help.
Jumpers will continue to be distributed until the festive season in an effort to ensure that as many children as possible get one.
