With less than a month to go until Christmas Linlithgow began its festive season in the usual traditional way on Saturday.
Residents and revellers were treated to a fantastic festive treat throughout the town at the Victorian-themed Advent Fayre.
The event hosted a number of attractions from charity stalls at The Cross, a farmers’ market at the Vennel and craft fayre in Linlithgow Burgh Halls between 10am.
Mr and Mrs Claus were also at the Halls where kids enjoyed face painting, balloon modelling and small fun fair rides at The Vennel.
Linlithgow Grange Rotary Club and Provost tom Kerr also lit their Tree of Light outside Linlithgow Library.
The Line Gallery were the hosts of an exhibition with mulled wine before the Grandlight torch procession through the town and the big switch-on by Gala Queen Millie Snedden at The Cross at 6pm.
