Special book about Bo'ness linked driver out now

The story of Jack Fisher, who designed, developed and raced 22 ‘specials’ and had a long and successful association with Bo’ness, has been told in a new book, ‘Special: Jack Fisher’, out this week.

For the first time, the full story of Jack Fisher is told by by Peter Speakman and Kenny Baird, who knew him and have competed in his racing cars. Jack started his motor racing career at Bo’ness Hill Climb and competed there from 1948 until the track closed in 1966. The book contains many photographs of Jack and his cars at Bo’ness.

The book is only available locally at Inkspot and Silverleaf Book sellers at 76/78 South Street, Bo'ness, priced £20.
