Pet Idol 2013 launch!

Popular Pet Idol is back for 2013 and once again your Journal and Gazette is delighted to team up with Rhoddy Stewart Photography Bo’ness to bring you a fantastic competition.

Do you think your pet has star quality? Rhoddy Stewart’s team will professionally photograph your pet for FREE, any type welcome.

These will be entered into an animal hall of fame, with a £300 canvas print at stake for the winner, determined by a public vote!

The deadline for getting images taken is July 19 and you can book your free sitting on 01506 828983. If your pet is too large for Rhoddy Stewart Photography’s Hope Street studio, they can arrange to snap it on site.

On July 26 all entries will be included in the Journal and Gazette’s special supplement.

Public voting then opens with the top 10 pets appearing on August 2. From these a favourite three will be voted for in a new round, revealed on August 9. A fresh vote will then decide the overall winner, to be unveiled on August 16.

In addition to the winner’s 16x20 inch brilliant canvas print, the second-placed pet gets a 12x8 print, worth £45!

Everyone who enters will be able to order discounted photo reprints of the pet image which appears in the Journal and Gazette; £15 for an 8x6 or £50 for all digital images on a DVD.

When taking the Pet Idol picture, a free children’s portrait session is also available with Rhoddy’s team.

The studio is open 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and by appointment in evenings and at weekends.

Rhoddy Stewart Photography has a baby club, £25 to join with three sessions and a framed 8x6 image from each. The team also travels the country for weddings.
