A STEAM train carriage window was smashed around 7pm last Saturday, September 1, as it travelled from the Kinneil area towards Bo’ness.

A Central Scotland Police spokeswoman said: “An object was thrown at the carriage and smashed the window. Thankfully there was nobody sitting next to the window, however there were people in that carriage. Nobody was injured.”

Police want to trace two teenage boys - around 16 years old with blond hair - seen in the area beforehand.

Another male was described as having red hair and police are also keen to trace a female.
