POLICE are appealing for information after nearly 40 metres of a wall was damaged in Bo’ness, that will cost a four figure sum to repair.
The incident occurred sometime between 7.30am last Saturday, July 23, and 7.45am this Monday, July 25.
The stane dyke wall surrounds a field on the foreshore – halfway between Bo’ness and Blackness.
Around 30 metres of coping stones have been knocked down and there has also been extensive damage to 7 metres of wall.
Inspector Campbell Dick said: “This is a popular route with walkers and somebody may have seen something or have some information relating to this vandalism.”
