The 37-year-old man was driving a Vauxhall Vectra on the A876 near Clackmannanshire Bridge when he was caught yesterday.

Inspector Andrew Thomson of Forth Valley Road Policing Unit said: ‘‘Speeding and inappropriate speed is one of the most serious road safety problems on Scotland’s roads, and causes death and injury to many people each year.

‘‘This driver has placed both himself and other road users at risk.

‘‘Speeding is a serious, dangerous and anti social activity. Don’t risk it!’’
