I am determined.

SNP candidate Michelle Thomson.

As a former MP I stood up for small business against the banks who sought to bankrupt them.

I continue to be an advisor to various groups who challenge the power of the banks.

I am not afraid to stand up and be counted.

I was personally asked by the Business Select Committee at Westminster to lead on the enquiry into Sir Philip Green and his disgraceful treatment of the employees of BHS.

I will speak out.

I spoke publicly about being raped at the age of 14 in a speech which was considered to be ground-breaking.

I am experienced in business.

Through my extensive business career, I have held various senior management roles.

I have also been a professional musician and I have run several of my own small businesses.

I care.

I am a Board Member of a group that seeks to give voice to those damaged by landmines and left behind without support. I also mentor young women.

I believe that it is natural for countries to choose to determine their own future.

I care passionately about Scotland and the need for us to chart our own course – in line with the values that we hold dear.

We have been dragged out of Europe against our wishes and told that we must now just meekly accept it by both Labour and the Conservatives.

Our young people deserve better.

Our communities deserve better.

You deserve better.

I will be a champion for you and for Falkirk East should I get elected on May 6.
