Linlithgow’s annual fireworks display will take place at Mains Park this Saturday, November 7.
Hosting the event is Linlithgow Rugby Club, which has been running the event for the past 22 years.
The community club is once again proud to be staging this family event, which attracts in the region of 2500 people on the night.
LRFC spokesman Craig Young said; ‘‘We would like to thank the 60 plus club volunteers, the outlets for their hard work, Linlithgow councillors and our sponsor, the Dunne Group. With games before the event the pressure is on, and with youth games on the Sunday too, the tidy-up will be important!’’
Tickets are now on sale on at Spar (Linlithgow Bridge), The News Shop, Far from the Madding Crowd, Norman Cummings, Alexanders on Preston Road, Braehead Shop, Dolphin Snack Bar and the rugby club, cost £10 per family of five or £4 per individual. Try to buy your ticket in advance as it will cost £15 and £5 at the gate.
The fireworks display is set to begin at 7.30pm with the usual array of toys for children, hot and cold drinks, soup, burgers on sale.
