Pupils of Queensferry Primary have been taking audiences into the fantasy world of Seussical the Musical at the Barony Theatre.

The P7 pupils produced the show in only eight weeks, an impressive achievement for a show which professionals can find difficult to master.

Class teacher Jane Thomson said: “The children are hard working and enthusiastic. As well as the children who are on stage, others have designed the set, form the back stage crew, and carry out front of house duties. They have shown great commitment and I am very proud of them.”

Seussical is based on the works of Dr Seuss and features characters like the colourful Cat in the Hat who is the narrator of the show.

Depute head teacher Alison Maclean and teacher Lee Carson are both members of the Barony Players and Linlithgow Amateur Productions and have been working with the children on the production.
