Queensferry based band Bwani Junction are set to record a special show for Radio One in Edinburgh this weekend.
The local group, who were the support for top band The Vaccines when they played at the HMV Picture House recently, will play a sell-out gig at the Bongo Club on Holyrood Road on Sunday.
The up and coming band have made it big since appearing on the BBC Introducing stage at T in the Park and the Wickerman Festival this summer. And on Sunday night, their show will be broadcast live to the nation on Radio One.
The band, which consists of Rory Fairweather, lead vocal and guitar, Dan Muir, lead guitar and vocals, Jack Fotheringham, drums and vocals, and Fergus Robson, bass guitar and vocals, are also set to cut their first album which should be out later this year.
