Hundreds of people across the area will pay their respects on Sunday, November 10, to the servicemen and women who have lost their lives since World War One.

Linlithgow Community Council has organised a parade from Horsemarket Head car park at 10.15am, along West Port, High St and Kirkgate for the service at St Michael’s Church at 10.40am. They will reassemble at 12.05pm and parade to Longcroft Hall.

Youth organisations and dignitaries will meet at the Queensferry’s High Street car park from 10.30am to march to the war memorial at Rosebery Hall for 10.45pm where Queensferry Parish Church minister Reverend David Cameron will conduct a short service before the laying of wreaths at 11am. Those assembled will then march to Queensferry Parish Church.

The service at Bo’ness takes place at the Old Kirk at 10.45am, followed by the Cenotaph at 12.15pm.

At Kirkliston, the service is at 10.30am, followed by the Cenotaph at 12pm. This year, Winchburgh Parish Church and St Philomena’s Church will have their service on Monday at 11am.
