Repeat honour for the Carron eco-heroes

A Falkirk conservation group is once again celebrating a prestigious award honour, following this week's 2017 Scottish Rural Awards.

Communities Along The Carron Association (CATCA) won the Conservation and the Environment category for the second year running for their sterling local endeavours.

The judging panel praised the grass roots volunteer group’s commitment and dedication to the regeneration of the River Carron and surrounding areas for the benefit of local residents.
