RNLI to the rescue

THE RNLI in Queensferry were called into action last Sunday when they came to the aid of 16 people who were trapped on Cramond island.

As the lifeboat crew arrived at Cramond Island around 4.40pm, they found three had began to wade ashore. They ensured the trio made it safely ashore before rescuuing the remainder of the party. All 13 were taken to Granton Harbour.
