IN celebration of 100 years of scouting in Bo’ness, an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia will be held in the scout hall, Cairns Lane, on Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4.
The exhibition, which has already proved popular during its two week long showing at Bo’ness Library, will finish there tomorrow (Saturday) ahead of its move to the scout hall.
Artefacts, which include a picture of the former Bo’ness leaders, the ‘Be Prepared’ Scout Guild Jubilee plaque, and the programme for the Blaire Atholl Jamborette 60th Anniversary, will be available to view alongside many others in honour of the centenary. Bo’ness scouts shared top spot in the Journal and Gazette’s £10,000 Caledonian Community Christmas Cracker, chosen by readers.
Refreshments will be available throughout the event, which takes place between 11am and 3pm on both days.
