A Bo’ness woman has this week marked the completion of 20 years’ service with one of the UK’s biggest companies, Sodexo.
Lynn West, who carries out conferencing and catering duties at the SRUC and SNEC, joined more than 100 colleagues from across the UK and Ireland, all of whom received long service awards, for lunch on board Bateaux London’s Symphony, the city’s largest restaurant cruise vessel.
As they took in the famous sites of London, each recipient was personally congratulated by Sodexo’s chief executive Debbie White.
Following the cruise, the long-servers were presented with their chosen gift in recognition of their service.
Sodexo employs 35,000 people and provides catering and a range of facilities management services to clients at over 2300 locations in the business and industry, education, healthcare, justice, leisure and defence sectors.
Chief executive, Debbie White, said: “People are our greatest asset at Sodexo.
‘‘Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide our customers and clients with exceptional service, acting as ambassadors for Sodexo every day.
‘‘This annual event is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for people like Lynn and to show just how much we value all the hard work, dedication and loyalty she has shown over the years.”
