Spate of housebreakings in Bo’ness

Police are investigating three housebreakings in Bo’ness which took place over the past two days.

Homes on Birdland Avenue, Foredale Terrace and Carriden Brae were targeted between Monday and Tuesday of this week and police are keen to trace two youths who may be linked with the incidents.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers are eager to trace two youths seen in the area at the time of the Birdland Avenue housebreaking.

“The first is described as being around 16 years old, with an average build, short ginger hair, and wearing a grey hoodie. The second is described as wearing a dark navy blue Adidas hoodie, and had a black rucksack.”

The incidents are being treated as linked and officers said they are following a positive line of enquiry but urged anyone with information to come forward.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour immediately.
