Stars take to the street to support Big Issue sellers

Some top names from the entertainment, sport and business world will be out on the street of Glasgow to sell the Big Issue as part of Vendor Week.

Belle and Sebastian singer Stuart Murdoch, actress Maxine Peake, Guardian columnist Owen Jones, David Shrigley- designer of Partick Thistle mascot Kingsley and Scottish professional wrestler Grado will be among the high-profile guest vendors joining in the UK-wide #VendorWeek event to support the International Network of Street Papers (INSP), which kicks-off on Monday.

As well as Glasgow, there will be similar event in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Birmingham and Leeds.

INSP Chief Executive Maree Aldam will be joining the guest vendors for the first time.
