This year’s musical spectacular Party at the Palace now has a further sponsor in the shape of German retail giant Lidl.
Organisers revealed last week that negotiations with the supermarket had proven succesful and that both brewing conglomerate McEwan’s and Lidl would work hand-in-hand.
John Richardson of promoters PDF said: “This is a real coup for us to get two huge and so well known companies involved in what is Scotland’s fastest growing music festival. “
This week locals will have noticed the new advertising at Linlithgow and Falkirk railway stations which was partly funded by Linlithgow BID.
These promote the Burgh’s events including the Marches, canal fun day, jousting and Scotch Hop.
Organisers have also announced that this year’s charity partner will be the STV Appeal.
“We hope that people will dig deep and help us support this very worthy cause which, in turn, makes sure that every penny raised remains in Scotland to help children who just need that wee bit extra that can make such a difference,” said PDF’s John Richardson.
