A BLAZE at a flat above the derelict Carriers Quarters pub on Main Street, Bo’ness, is being treated by police as wilful fireraising.
Firefighters were alerted shortly after 11pm last Friday, August 19. Five engines attended, including an aerial ladder platform, and the last crews didn’t leave the scene until 10am on Saturday morning.
No one needed to be rescued from the flat and Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service was this week continuing investigations into the cause of the blaze, that ripped up through the roof.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Central Scotland Police on 01786 456 000 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
