Their Say

AS secretary of the Cat Register and Rescue I am proud to announce our 21 years as a Scottish registered charity.

We operate in the West Lothian and Falkirk area helping stray and feral cats. Our main activities include neutering healthy feral cats; taking into care sick, injured and vulnerable cats and ensuring they receive professional veterinary treatment; careful rehoming of cats in care to suitable new owners; providing advice regarding lost cats and liaising with other local organisations in order to reunite missing cats with their owners.

We have a thriving charity shop in Brightons where we accept donations of clothing and bric-a-brac. The CRR holds three main fundraising events each year which are advertised in local newspapers, public buildings and the shop. We also attend outdoor events such as the Bo’ness Victorian Street Fayre and the Linlithgow Union Canal Society fun day.

Our next event is our spring fayre on Saturday, March 24, in Falkirk Old and St. Modan’s Parish Church Hall.
