Hide AdA Scottish Water spokeswoman said: “There was a burst on a six-inch water main in Burder Park, Carron earlier this afternoon which caused a loss of normal water supply for a small number of properties in the area.
“Scottish Water operatives have now completed a repair to the burst and we are restoring normal supplies to affected customers.
“If any customers experience discoloured water when their water is restored they should run the cold water tap until it runs clear.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank affected customers for their patience and understanding.”
