HOW THEY MET: With online dating websites and apps growing in popularity it is no surprise Jonathan and Janine met each other through the internet back in 2013. Jonathan said: “It has worked out well for us.”

THE PROPOSAL: The couple had discussed getting married and both agreed it is what they wanted so Jonathan got down on one knee and popped the question in their living room.

THE WEDDING: The pair were married on February 13 at Brightons Parish Church before moving the party to the Vu in Bathgate. Jonathan said the snow added to the occasion, despite meaning a Range Rover was required to help the wedding car reach its destination.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Jonathan’s best man was his brother Christopher and his groomsman was his other brother David. Janine’s bridesmaids were her best friend Cheryl and cousin Dani.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple are aiming to get some sun this Easter with a week in Majorca.
