Queensferry RFC held its second annual awards night at “The Two Bridges” in the town.
It was a great night to round off a good season.
Player of the year went to Ryan Thompson; club member of the year went to Stuart Cluness; star of the future went to Chris McCombie and top try scorer was Kevin Carson. There was also a few fun awards and Kiwi member Hayden Woods was presented with an engraved glass mug as he is returning home soon.
Hayden has been inspirational on the field and at the heart of all the social activity off field. He will be missed by everyone. Special thanks also went to coach Darren Burns and physiotherapist Lorna Smith.
The club is still looking for new players, so if you would like to join a competitive, social and fun club, get in touch.
Summer touch rugby will keep everyone together over the break and welcome new players into the squad. Anybody who would like to get involved with coaching or committee work is welcome to get in touch. Contact Allan Carson on 07769 250526.
