Footballer Jordan Burns is setting the midwest alight in the United States.
But it’s not all ball skills that the youngster, who is 21 today (Friday), is learning.
For he is a student at Grand View University, in Des Moines, Iowa, and is hoping to graduate next year.
The Bo’ness lad plays regularly for Grand View Vikings first team which is on course to qualify for the national tournament.
Should they be successful and get to Florida, it will be Jordan’s second time at the championships; last year the side made it through to the same event in Oklahoma.
Jordan is studying kinesology and health promotions, sports science, coaching and personal training over four years on a scholarship set up by his agent, Dave Binnie of Sporting Futures USA.
He initially went to Arizona Western College in 2012 before transferring to Grand View.
His proud parents Tom and Fiona, sister Hannah and grandparents live in Bo’ness.
