Newbigging will take charge of his side against Linlithgow for the first time as manager at Prestonfield after taking over the reins from his role as Allan McGonigal’s number two last year.

As assistant Newbigging was unbeaten in the league last season with a draw and a win over Linlithgow as Bo’ness stormed to the championship and he is keen to keep up the momentum.

“These are the games you want to be involved in either as a player or manager so I’m looking forward to the match,” he said.
