Bo’ness United Community Football Club launches football sessions for older or less mobile members of community

Bo’ness United Community Football Club has broadened its reach by introducing men’s and ladies recreational football and walking football for older or less mobile members of the community.

BUCFC is offering the first block of eight sessions for free.BUCFC prides itself on being diverse and inclusive.

Sarah Crawford-Wilkinson, a trustee of the club, said: “We’d love to see more of the community participating in sport.

"Football isn’t just about physical fitness, it’s about meeting new people and looking after your wellbeing. After such a difficult year, this is a great time to be trying something new.”

Its youth section has 325 footballers, with over 30% female participation and players of many different nationalities.
